Just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you for all you did for us this past spring and summer. I have learned a great deal from you and feel that my boating skills & confidence have improved immensely. My boat will be coming out mid October, and I am already looking forward to the season and some "tune-up" lessons from you.
Since our last lesson I have taken the boat out w/Family and friends and we've had enjoyable outings. I was actually out in Cape Cod Bay just recently and based upon conditions I predicted fog in Buzzards Bay. I decided to return us to home port sooner rather than later and my prediction was spot-on, just as we were safely tied up *pea-soup* dropped in on us. Had to deal with the RR bridge being down and lot's of congestion ---- I stemmed current, hailed canal patrol for info on bridge status and acceptable stemming pattern (of which they thanked me) all-in-all excellent experience. Without your instructions I surely would have made errors in judgment, handling, navigation, protocol, etc. So, once again thank you!!
Hope all is well, and let's stay in touch over the off season.'
'Hi Danny,
Just wanted to say thanks for the lesson on Thursday. It was a great time. I'm glad we got out in some rougher conditions as it helped me understand the boat a bit better, and your instruction continues to broaden my//our overall confidenceSo, I'd like to do another lesson and truly test it again, and also I need to get a better understanding as to just how to set the anchor. Also, as we discussed, I'd like to spend a little more time in and out of the slip --- just need a little more confidence boost, but Thursday session with the wind and conditions definitely helped immensely.
Sorry for the long winded email, and many, many, thanks for all you are doing for us. As a family we feel like we are becoming safer and smarter boaters.
Will be in touch soon to carve out another date.'
Thanks Danny!!!!!
